The Korea Asset Management Corporation Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters visited Ulleung County on September 18, following last year’s visit, and donated 2 million won in scholarships to the Ulleung County Education Development Committee (Chairman Han Ikhyeon) to support the development of local education and foster talent in the region.

At the donation ceremony, Han Changsoo, Head of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Asset Management Corporation, and Nam Hankwon, Director of the Ulleung County Education Development Committee, attended as representatives.
The Korea Asset Management Corporation is a quasi-governmental institution responsible for acquiring and resolving non-performing loans from financial institutions, corporate restructuring, supporting the financial recovery of vulnerable groups, managing state-owned assets, and collecting delinquent taxes.
At the ceremony, Han Changsoo, Head of the Regional Headquarters, stated, "I was deeply moved by the dedication of Ulleung County students who strive toward their dreams despite challenging circumstances," and added, "I hope this scholarship will help students as they plan for a brighter future."
In response, Director Nam Hankwon (Governor of Ulleung County) expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Asset Management Corporation for visiting Ulleung County every year to donate scholarships. We will use this valuable contribution to further the development of local education and nurture outstanding talent."
