On September 18, Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province signed a "Business Agreement for the Expansion of Public Electric Bus Charging Facility Infrastructure" with Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO, led by Director Han Changsoo), taking steps to enhance eco-friendly transportation infrastructure.
The signing ceremony, held at Ulleung County Office, was attended by County Governor Nam Hankwon and related officials, as well as key figures including Han Changsoo, Director of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of Korea Asset Management Corporation, Son Youngdeuk, Head of Department, and Park Junhyuk, Pohang Branch Manager.

This agreement was established to efficiently expand electric bus charging facilities within Ulleung County by utilizing idle public land managed by Korea Asset Management Corporation, thereby building eco-friendly transportation infrastructure and improving convenience for residents.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will actively cooperate in providing and utilizing land for the construction of electric bus charging facilities, promoting mutual collaboration for sustainable regional development, and jointly pursuing eco-friendly policies.
County Governor Nam Hankwon stated, "I expect this agreement will serve as an important foundation for making Ulleung County the leading eco-friendly green island in South Korea."
In response, Han Changsoo, Director of Korea Asset Management Corporation, said, "It is very meaningful to contribute to the construction of Ulleung County's eco-friendly transportation infrastructure through the efficient use of state-owned assets," adding, "We will continue to actively create social value by utilizing state-owned assets in close cooperation with Ulleung County."
Starting with this agreement, Ulleung County plans to gradually increase electric bus charging facilities using idle public land and accelerate the transition of public transportation to eco-friendly energy.
