Kim Daein, Deputy Governor of Shinan County, participated in a relay support campaign wishing for the successful hosting of the 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo.
Deputy Governor Kim joined the campaign after being nominated by Mokpo Deputy Mayor Cho Seokhoon. He then nominated Yeonggwang County Governor Jang Seil, Shinan County Council Chairman Lee Sangjoo, and National Assembly Speaker’s Event Planning Advisor Tak Hyunmin as the next participants.
This expo is the first international event in Korea with a gourmet theme, featuring participation from over 40 countries and serving as a platform for global exchange in the food and restaurant industry. Under the slogan "Taste Nature, Savor the Sea," the expo will focus on promoting Namdo’s pristine ingredients and traditional food culture to the world.
During the event, a variety of programs will be offered, including three main exhibition halls-the Theme Hall, Gourmet Culture Hall, and K-Food Industry Hall-as well as exhibitions of local agricultural and marine products, processed foods, live cooking shows by world-renowned chefs, a global Korean cuisine forum, and export consultations.
Deputy Governor Kim stated, "Shinan County is home to the world’s highest-quality ingredients and unique secret recipes passed down in each of its 14 towns and townships. I will do my best to promote Shinan County, which offers an abundance of sights and culinary delights, and to contribute to the success of the expo."
