Woori Bank announced that on the 18th, it conducted the "Visiting Financial Experience Classroom" at Sugok Middle School in Cheongju, Chungbuk, utilizing its mobile branch "WeBUS."
This program was part of Woori Bank's "One Company, One School Financial Education" initiative, which provides financial education to elementary, middle, and high school students nationwide. On this day, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Woori Bank offered practical financial education to 30 students at Sugok Middle School, covering topics such as saving and allowance management, credit and debt, and prevention of financial fraud. Using the mobile branch "WeBUS," students also had the opportunity to experience actual banking work.
Through its mobile branch service using "WeBUS," Woori Bank also visits senior welfare centers and other locations to provide customized services to customers with limited access to financial institutions.
A Woori Bank official stated, "Through this financial experience classroom, we were able to provide financial education and hands-on opportunities to students in regional areas," adding, "We will continue to expand the program nationwide so that more students can benefit from better financial services."
