Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province, led by Mayor Park Hyungdeok, announced on September 19 that it has successfully completed and inaugurated the Music Street development project in the Bosan-dong Foreign Tourist Special Zone.

This project was carried out to provide citizens and tourists visiting the Bosan-dong Tourist Special Zone with an emotionally engaging pedestrian environment that harmonizes with music, as well as to encourage longer stays and contribute to revitalizing the local commercial district.
The main components of the project include: ▲ landscaping of flower beds and planting of evergreen trees and other species suitable for all seasons ▲ renovation of the busking stage ▲ refurbishment of the luminaria lighting ▲ installation of gobo lighting to enhance the nighttime scenery.
In particular, flower pots that had previously been scattered and detracted from the urban landscape were systematically organized, creating a fresh and sophisticated street view. The gobo lighting installed along Workshop Street and Club Street is expected to capture the attention of visitors and create a vibrant atmosphere even at night.
Mayor Park Hyungdeok personally visited the completed site to inspect the facilities and encourage those involved, stating, "Bosan-dong Music Street will become a key space that establishes itself as a representative tourist zone of Dongducheon City." He added, "We will continue to do our utmost to ensure that this becomes a beloved landmark for both citizens and tourists through systematic management and maintenance."
