Following this year's telecom hacking incident, KT commissioned an external security firm to conduct an investigation into its servers over a period of about four months to assess the situation. The company confirmed the breach indications through a report based on the investigation results.
KT stated that it will actively cooperate with the government's investigation going forward and will do its utmost to quickly identify the compromised servers and clarify the specific details and causes of the breach.
