From the UNESCO International Records Heritage Center, Secretary-General Cho Yunmyung, Director of Educational Development Park Hyunseok, and Senior Specialist Noh Jiyeong were present.

Through this agreement, the two institutions will collaborate to promote the preservation and utilization of world documentary heritage, as well as the joint development of next-generation education and cultural content.

The details of the agreement include: ▲ collaboration in education and research for the preservation and utilization of documentary heritage; ▲ joint production of audiovisual and digital-based content; ▲ operation of curriculum-linked practical training and internships; ▲ hosting of workshops and seminars related to archiving and digital transformation; and ▲ human and academic exchange and joint events.

As the first step of this agreement, the Educational Development Office of the UNESCO International Records Heritage Center and the Cartoon and Animation Technology Department at Sejong University will jointly produce short-form content themed on UNESCO World Documentary Heritage.

This project is being carried out in connection with the Seoul Regional Innovation-led University Support System (RISE) initiative and is being produced by the Sejong University Creative Content ICC (Industry Collaboration Center).

President Eom stated, "Through our close partnership with the UNESCO International Records Heritage Center, we will focus the university's capabilities to make the value of world documentary heritage more accessible and to expand it into new cultural content."
