This campaign, held over two days on September 15 and 16, was designed as an open event within the festival so that anyone could participate without pressure. The program included writing letters to oneself under the theme "To Myself Starting a New Semester" and a hands-on experience of creating a personal fragrance. A total of 781 students took part in the activities.
Students wrote short encouraging letters to themselves and received messages from other students, providing an opportunity to share expectations and encouragement for the new semester. Additionally, by selecting and blending scents to create their own perfumes, participants were able to focus on their preferences and enjoy "time to meet themselves."
Notably, this program was planned and operated directly by peer counselors known as "Mind Health Keepers," who had completed prior training. This added significance, as the activities were tailored to the students' perspectives.
Going forward, the Student Counseling Center at Seoul National University of Science and Technology plans to continue offering a variety of psychological support services, including individual counseling, psychological assessments, and peer counselor training programs. The center will also operate various programs to reduce psychological barriers to counseling and to promote mental health and adaptation to university life among students.
