Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province will host the '2025 Suwon Jazz Festival' for two days from September 19 to 20 at the Jaeminanbat area of Gwanggyo Lake Park.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the festival, and a total of 11 acts will perform, including Kim Yuna, Woongsan Band, Jay Black, and two overseas bands.
On the first day, September 19, the opening performance will feature the Bruce Katz Band, led by keyboardist Bruce Katz, who has performed with the Allman Brothers Band and others. Following this, musician Kim Yuna will take the stage.
On September 20, the Cros Band, led by a guitarist who has played alongside blues legends, will perform. Jazz diva Woongsan will also grace the stage with her deep and soulful voice.
This year, the festival has expanded its appeal by adding a variety of genres, including pop, blues, and dance performances. Visitors can bring mats and comfortably enjoy the concerts on the lawn. All performances are free of charge.
The venue will feature 12 food trucks, as well as food markets from Woncheon-dong and Gwanggyo 2-dong, offering a wide variety of culinary options.
A Suwon City official said, "We hope many citizens will visit the Suwon Jazz Festival and enjoy a romantic autumn night accompanied by the melodies of jazz."
