The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on September 19 that it will hold the "Everyone's National Agenda, Promoted by Me: Video & Design Contest" until October 26.

This contest was organized following the confirmation of the national agenda for the Lee Jaemyung administration on September 16. Its aim is to increase public interest in the new government's various policies and to complete the design of the national vision and government objectives together with the public.

Any South Korean citizen may participate in the contest, either individually or as part of a team of up to four members. To enter, participants must submit their work on the official website, which will be released at 10 a.m. on September 19.

The contest is divided into two categories. In the "Everyone's National Agenda Promoted by Me: YouTube Video" category, participants are invited to create a video introducing a policy of their choice-one they are interested in and believe will benefit both themselves and the public-among the 123 national agenda items confirmed at the Cabinet meeting.

In the second category, "National Vision & Government Objectives Designed by Me," the contest seeks designs that best express the national vision of "A Country Where the People Are the Owners, A Happier Korea Together," as well as the five main government objectives: "Politics That Unites the People," "An Innovative Economy Leading the World," "Balanced Growth Where Everyone Thrives," "A Society with Strong Fundamentals," and "Diplomacy and Security Centered on National Interest." Winning designs in this category will be displayed at government offices, including the Presidential Office and administrative welfare centers nationwide.

The final winners will be announced in November after a review process. The grand prize winner in each category will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and a prize of 5 million won. The total prize pool amounts to 28 million won.

Further details about the contest can be found on the official website.

Jung Taekyung, Director of Communications Support at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated, "This contest is an opportunity for citizens to directly promote the national agenda and to realize a country where the people are the true owners by completing the national vision and government objectives through design. We hope for enthusiastic participation from the public."
