Thirty teams that passed the first round of document screening took to the stage for presentations, engaging in fierce competition. Winners were selected in two categories: youth and young adults.
The grand prize in the youth category went to the 'Pikuniku' team from Gyeongnam Foreign Language High School (Lee Arim and two others), while the grand prize in the young adult category was awarded to 'Convill Design.'
Additionally, the Gyeongsangnam-do Governor’s Award was presented to Kim Jihye and Green Loop (Cha Minseong), while the Gyeongsangnam-do Superintendent of Education Award went to Son Sua from the Gimhae-si Western Youth Support Center (and one other) and Lee Eunbin from Naengcheon Middle School, among others.
This competition brought together creative ideas directly planned and presented by youth and young adults in the fields of 'green'-such as renewable energy and resource circulation-and 'digital'-such as AI and digital-based lifestyle innovation. It served as a platform to showcase the potential of the local youth startup ecosystem.
Director Park Chundeok stated, "This competition was a meaningful occasion to confirm the creativity and potential of the next generation," and added, "We will spare no effort in providing multifaceted support so that the winning ideas can be realized as actual products and services."
CEO Kang Kiyoon also remarked, "We will discover and support outstanding local startup ideas to foster an entrepreneurial culture and create a virtuous cycle for regional growth."
The Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Support Foundation plans to continue providing various startup and challenge opportunities led by youth and young adults, accelerating regional development and the cultivation of future talent.
