The People Power Party announced on the afternoon of the 18th, "The ruling and opposition parties have agreed to postpone the Joint Committee on People's Livelihood and Economy, which was originally scheduled for tomorrow, for the time being due to a series of developments, including the surprise introduction of the Government Organization Act."

Previously, the People Power Party had agreed to launch the joint committee, stating that it would separate political strife from livelihood issues. However, it appears that the party is now protesting after the Democratic Party passed the amendment to the Government Organization Act at the first bill review subcommittee of the Administrative Safety Committee earlier that day.
