The ceremony, which will take place at 3 p.m. that day, is designed to celebrate 80 years of challenge and innovation and to prepare for a major leap forward toward its centennial.

The first part of the event will include a celebratory performance, a moment of silence for senior pharmaceutical industry members who have dedicated themselves to the development of the pharmaceutical and bio-pharma sector, the screening of a promotional video about the industry, a dedication of the 80-year history, the proclamation of "Pharmaceutical Bio Vision 2030," and an awards ceremony recognizing contributors to the 80th anniversary projects.

The second part will feature an opening ceremony for the new Future Hall, as well as introductions to the remodeled headquarters, the digital history museum, and various exhibits. The Future Hall, which is the first annex built since the headquarters was constructed in 1988, was established with a budget of approximately 2 billion won and has a total area of 389.57 square meters (117.84 pyeong) across four floors, with a piloti structure on the first floor. The second floor will house a smart office for member companies and related organizations, the third floor will feature the AI New Drug Research Institute and the newly established AI New Drug Development Self-Driving Lab (SDL), and the fourth floor will contain meeting rooms where key decisions are made. The Future Hall is expected to serve as a symbol of a new leap forward for the industry and as an important hub for collaborative networks.

In addition to the commemorative ceremony, the association will also host a series of academic events as part of its 80th anniversary projects, including the AI Pharma Korea Conference, the 3rd Innovation Forum for the realization of Pharmaceutical Bio Vision 2030, a new drug development symposium co-hosted with the Korean Pharmaceutical Association, and a manufacturing quality innovation seminar co-hosted with the Korean Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.

The association will also publish several works to mark the 80th anniversary, including an 80-year history covering its past and future vision, "Outpost - The People Who Protect Korea's New Drugs," which details the behind-the-scenes stories of domestically developed new drugs, "First Steps in AI New Drug Development: From Theory to Application," an introductory textbook on AI drug development, and "Stories of Pharmaceutical Advertising." These publications will be distributed to attendees of the anniversary ceremony and some will be made available to the public through bookstores.

President Noh Yeonhong stated, "Since the association's founding in October 1945, I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the development of Korea's pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industry and the association itself. I hope that the 80th anniversary ceremony and the diverse and substantial projects marking this milestone will provide an opportunity to reflect on our industry's achievements and serve as a springboard for a bold leap toward the next 100 years. I look forward to your active participation and interest."
