According to the People Power Party and the special prosecutor team, starting at 5:35 p.m. that day, the special prosecutor team began forcibly executing the search and seizure warrant at the company.

Park Sunghoon, chief spokesperson for the People Power Party, stated, "A search and seizure of the People Power Party's roster of 5 million members is underway," adding, "We are raising objections to various issues that have arisen during the forced execution process."

The special prosecutor team attempted to begin the search and seizure at 10 a.m. that day, but faced a standoff lasting more than seven hours with People Power Party officials, who insisted that the materials should be submitted voluntarily.

The special prosecutor team suspects that Unification Church executives attempted to organize group memberships by distributing party membership applications to church members in December 2022, ahead of the People Power Party's national convention. The team plans to verify the facts by comparing the Unification Church member list with the People Power Party's membership roster from the same period.
