This inspection is being carried out in cooperation with local education support offices, police stations, and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority. It will comprehensively examine the main safety devices and operational status of children's school transportation vehicles. The regular inspections, conducted twice a year in the first and second halves, aim to prevent accidents involving school buses and proactively eliminate potential hazards.

The main inspection items, in accordance with the Road Traffic Act, include: school bus registration and driver training certificates, child protection indicator lights, indirect vision devices, rear pedestrian safety devices, and disembarkation confirmation devices. These are all essential elements to ensure the safety of both vehicles and drivers.

The Office plans to take immediate corrective action on any deficiencies found during the inspection. It also intends to continue ongoing management and inspections to ensure that children can commute to and from school safely.

Noh Kwonyul, Director of Administration, stated, "Since children's school transportation vehicles are used by children every day, even stricter management is necessary," adding, "We will make greater efforts to create an environment where students using school buses can commute safely."
