Gimpo City to Launch 'Gimpo Restaurant Stamp Tour' on the 22nd... "Boosting the Local Economy"

You can participate with just one stamp
The more stamps you collect, the higher your chances of winning

Gimpo City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byungsoo) announced on September 18 that it will host the '2025 Gimpo Restaurant Stamp Tour Event' from September 22 to October 24, for about one month, to promote local restaurants and revitalize the local economy.

This stamp tour will feature 45 restaurants designated as 'Gimpo Restaurant Certified Establishments,' carefully selected by Gimpo City, and is open to both residents and tourists. Participants can visit the designated restaurants, enjoy a meal, collect a unique stamp for each restaurant on the 'Gimpo Restaurant Stamp Map' provided on-site, and upload a photo of the stamped map to the event page or via QR code to be automatically entered into the event.

Participants are eligible to enter the event with just one stamp, and the more stamps they collect, the higher their chances of winning. Gimpo City will randomly select winners in different segments and present them with various prizes.

In particular, the 'Gimpo Restaurant Stamp Book (Stamp Map)' used for this tour is more than just a means of verification. It creatively represents the signature dishes and unique flavors of 45 Gimpo restaurants through stamps, and is designed in a map format that provides an at-a-glance introduction and location information for each restaurant, making it easy for people of all ages to use.

This initiative also serves as a tourism-oriented content that connects the taste and charm of Gimpo, and is expected to enhance both accessibility and recognition of Gimpo's restaurants.

The stamp tour maps will be distributed at local administrative welfare centers, health centers, libraries, and participating restaurants, and can also be viewed online through the 'Gimpo News > Departmental Resources > Gimpo Restaurant Map' section on the Gimpo City Hall website.

A Gimpo City official stated, "This stamp tour is part of a promotional project to widely publicize restaurants selected by Gimpo City and strengthen the competitiveness of the local food culture," adding, "We will continue to discover unique dining resources exclusive to Gimpo and connect them to tourism resources to contribute to the local economy."
