"Direct Impact of Stricter Serious Accident Act"... Mgen Solution Sees Surge in Inquiries for 'AI Fire Suppression' at Safety Expo

Mgen Solution announced on September 18 that it will participate in the '2025 Korea Safety Industry Expo,' showcasing its AI fire suppression solution and smart crosswalk system.

The expo, which runs from September 17 to 19, features 380 companies and organizations presenting the latest disaster management products and technologies. The venue includes an 'Advanced Disaster Response Technology Zone' that brings together AI, robotics, drones, and digital twins, as well as a 'General Industry Hall' covering fire, flooding, earthquakes, landslides, and industrial safety. In particular, Mgen Solution's booth displaying its AI fire suppression solution attracted significant attention from both domestic and international buyers, as well as public sector safety officials.

Recently, the Lee Jaemyung administration decided to allocate a budget of 2 trillion won by next year to prevent industrial accidents, create safer workplaces, and build a sustainable labor market. In this context, the securities industry has analyzed that Mgen Solution is likely to benefit from these policies. According to the relevant industry, the global disaster safety industry market was projected to reach approximately 1,880 trillion won last year and is experiencing rapid annual growth.

Mgen Solution's AI fire suppression solution is an automated system capable of 24-hour unmanned monitoring and initial fire response within 30 seconds. It is also equipped with an automatic alert function that notifies administrators and relevant local government agencies in the event of a fire. At a resource recycling center where this system was installed, a fire that broke out in the early morning hours when no managers were present was quickly extinguished, resulting in no casualties or property damage, according to the company.

A company representative stated, "The final steps are underway to register the product as an innovative prototype," adding, "Once completed, public institutions and related agencies will be able to easily access our products through the Public Procurement Service." The representative also predicted, "The range of environments where our solutions can be supplied will expand beyond industrial sites to include tunnels, cultural heritage sites, and more."

The company also explained that it is making thorough preparations to pass the National Police Agency's review for the smart school zone crosswalk project, which is being implemented as part of the mayor of Hwaseong's campaign pledges.
