Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province will carry out environmental maintenance at 29 mineral springs in the city from September 16 to November 30 to provide citizens with safe and clean water.

On September 18, Mayor Kang Suhyun, the head of the Urban Environment Business Office, and other officials participated in the removal of fallen leaves, trash, and other pollutants at the Hoamsa Mineral Spring, as well as disinfecting and sterilizing the water intake area and inspecting nearby facilities.
The city is also conducting monthly water quality tests on six items, including general bacteria, and the results are released through the city's official website and the bulletin boards at the mineral springs.
Kang Suhyun, Mayor of Yangju City, stated, "We will create mineral springs that citizens can use safely and hygienically through continuous environmental maintenance and thorough water quality inspections."
