According to the city on September 18, "Memory: Spring" is a locally tailored original play produced directly by the Jeongeup Municipal Nongak Troupe. Set against the backdrop of the turbulent late Joseon Dynasty, the performance explores what the Jeongeup Nongak Troupe had to do and what they were able to do during those challenging times.

This performance is designed to fully showcase the charm of traditional performing arts by blending humor, dance, song, and the vibrant rhythms of Nongak. Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis, starting 30 minutes before the show begins.

Members of the Jeongeup Municipal Nongak Troupe will demonstrate the artistic excellence of Jeongeup Nongak, while the Jeongeup Municipal Choir will add to the emotional impact of the stage with their rich and powerful voices. Audiences are expected to enjoy and empathize with the era's sentiments on a stage where tradition and creativity come together.

Mayor Lee Haksoo stated, "We will continue to present a variety of cultural performances tailored to the expectations of our citizens to quench their cultural thirst, and we will do our best to promote the development of local culture and arts and improve the quality of life for our citizens."

Meanwhile, the Jeongeup Municipal Nongak Troupe will continue to engage with citizens in October. Every Saturday at 2:30 p.m., they will present regular Saturday performances at the Naejangsan Culture Plaza Children's Playground (October 4 and 18) and Suseong Neighborhood Park (October 11 and 25), offering a variety of performances for the community.
