In anticipation of the Chuseok holiday, Gyeonggi Province, together with the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest and the Gyeongin Homeless Facilities Association, visited Anna's House, a homeless self-support facility in Seongnam, on September 18 and delivered Him-Up relief supplies.
Previously, the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest selected the Gyeongin Homeless Facilities Association for the "2025 Gyeonggi Vivaldi Sharing Project."
"Vivaldi" symbolizes the four seasons, and is an event that delivers supplies four times a year-during the summer, Chuseok, winter, and Lunar New Year. The project, which started in 2023 with a budget of 30 million won, expanded to 100 million won in 2024, and this year has grown to 150 million won.
This year, the relief kits being distributed include five types of items: a toiletries set, blanket, underwear, towel, and socks.
Gyeonggi Province plans to distribute 350 relief kits to homeless individuals through 14 homeless facilities across the province.
Han Kyungsoo, Director of Welfare Projects at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Gyeonggi Province will continue to promote a culture of sharing in cooperation with both the public and private sectors, striving to improve the stability of homeless individuals' lives, foster positive changes in community perceptions, and build a sustainable welfare system."
