The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will host the "2025 Gyeonggi-do 5070 Job Fair in Gwangju" for the middle-aged and older population on September 23 at the Gwangju Hanam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This job fair is designed to support middle-aged and older job seekers who are exploring career transitions and reemployment opportunities.

Gwangju City is a region where traditional manufacturing and cutting-edge industries coexist, and it has actively implemented customized employment policies to support career transitions and reemployment for the middle-aged and older population.

This job fair will also offer recruitment opportunities linked to key local industries such as the root industry and logistics sector. In addition, a variety of support programs will be provided, including information on retraining programs, career consulting, and financial counseling.

For companies unable to attend in person, job postings will be available at the recruitment booth, and resumes will be collected and delivered, with a total of about 40 companies expected to participate in the hiring process.

In addition, local employment-related organizations such as the Gwangju Employment Welfare Plus Center, Gwangju Job Center, and Gwangju Senior Club will participate to provide job placement services. There will also be side events such as resume writing workshops, free resume photo shoots, and hands-on experiences with promising senior jobs, comprehensively supporting the employment capabilities of the middle-aged and older job seekers.

Job seekers interested in participating can register in advance through the official fair website (5070job.com) or sign up on-site on the day of the event.

Meanwhile, Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation plan to hold a total of 26 "Gyeonggi-do 5070 Job Fairs" across cities and counties in the province, including Gwangju City, through November.
