Special Safety Inspections of Multi-Use Facilities
Including Public Parking Lots, Sports Facilities, Recreational Forests, and Campgrounds
from September 16 to 26 Ahead of Chuseok Holiday
Gumi Urban Corporation in North Gyeongsang Province will conduct a special safety inspection of major multi-use facilities, including public parking lots, sports facilities, recreational forests, and campgrounds, from September 16 to 26. This initiative aims to ensure that citizens can use public facilities safely and comfortably during the upcoming Chuseok holiday period.
The inspection, led by the executive director, will focus on several key areas: electrical, gas, and fire safety systems; the structural safety of buildings; and the management of sanitation and convenience facilities. In particular, recreational forests and campgrounds, which see high visitor traffic during the holiday, will be subject to even more thorough checks to proactively prevent any safety accidents.
Any minor inconveniences identified during the inspection will be addressed immediately, while more significant hazards will be resolved swiftly in cooperation with relevant agencies.
Lee Jaewoong, President of Gumi Urban Corporation, stated, "Many citizens and families will visit our facilities during Chuseok, and we are doing our utmost to ensure their time is safe and comfortable. We will continue to do our best to create a safe facility environment where citizens can feel secure."
