Kwon Seongdong, a member of the People Power Party who is suspected of receiving 100 million won from Yoon, the former head of the global headquarters of the Unification Church in January 2022, was arrested on the 16th.

On this day, Nam Sejin, the chief judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, reviewed the arrest warrant requested by Special Prosecutor Min Jungki on charges including violations of the Political Funds Act. Judge Nam issued the arrest warrant for Assemblyman Kwon, stating, "There are concerns about the destruction of evidence."
