Long hitter Bang Sinshil is aiming for her fourth win of the season.
From September 18, for four days, she will compete for the title at the Hana Financial Group Championship, which offers the largest prize pool on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, held at Bears Best Cheongna in Incheon (par 72, 6,813 yards). The total prize money is 1.5 billion won. Alongside Lee Yewon, Bang Sinshil has three wins this season, making them co-leaders in the multi-win category.

Bang Sinshil claimed victory at the OK Savings Bank Unman Open last week. She previously won the Nexen-Saintnine Masters in April and the High1 Resort Women's Open in July, bringing her total to three wins this season. At this tournament, she is targeting both back-to-back victories and her fourth win of the season. She is currently in excellent form. Earlier this month, she tied for sixth at the KB Financial Star Championship, and then celebrated a win at the OK Savings Bank Unman Open.
Bang Sinshil said, "I'm excited and grateful to have the chance to win for two consecutive weeks. My condition and rhythm are good right now, so I will do my best to achieve a great result on a course I like." She added, "The key strategy for this tournament is to keep the ball in the fairway. I will focus on my tee shots throughout the play."
This tournament will feature a star-studded field. Lee Yewon, Hong Jungmin, Noh Seunghee, and Yoo Hyunjo will be competing for the title. Park Hyunkyung, Bae Sohyun, Kim Minsol, Lee Dongun, Ko Jiwoo, and Ko Jiweon, who each have one win this year, are also aiming for multiple victories. Ma Dasom will be defending her title. Lydia Ko, ranked third in the world and representing New Zealand, and Minjee Lee, ranked fourth and representing Australia, both active on the LPGA Tour, will participate as this event is hosted by their sponsor.
