"100 Million Won Bonus"... Job Seekers Flock to Recruitment News from the Company More Desired than Samsung

SK Hynix, which drew attention for its unprecedented performance bonuses averaging 100 million won per employee, will be conducting new employee recruitment for the second half of this year.

Employees are leaving work at the SK Hynix headquarters in Icheon, Gyeonggi.

On September 16, SK Hynix announced that it will be accepting applications for new hires for the second half of 2025 from September 22 to October 1.

The recruitment is open to those who have graduated or are expected to graduate with at least a bachelor's degree and are able to start work in January or February next year. Work locations include Icheon and Bundang in Gyeonggi Province, Cheongju in North Chungcheong Province, and Seoul. The available positions are in design, device, research and development (R&D) process, and mass production technology, with the total number of hires expected to be in the triple digits.

Notably, this recruitment round introduces the 'A!SK' (AI Interview with SK Hynix) process, an artificial intelligence-based video interview, to allow applicants to fully showcase their abilities. In this process, AI generates job-specific questions, enabling applicants to highlight communication skills, basic job knowledge, teamwork, and situational response abilities that may not be easily conveyed through a personal statement alone.

The assessment method is similar to the SKCT (SK Competency Test), with applicants solving problems and recording their answers on video in a non-face-to-face online environment.

The submitted videos will be evaluated through multi-faceted reviews by future colleagues, aiming to enhance fairness and objectivity.

Final selection will be determined after passing the document screening, completing both the SKCT and the A!SK process at the aptitude stage, and then undergoing interviews at the end of November.

100 Million Won Bonus... SK Hynix Ranked No. 1 Among Job Seekers

Having secured a leading position in the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) market, SK Hynix achieved the highest operating profit among Korea's top 500 companies in the first half of this year. With SK Hynix having improved its performance bonus system to allow for record-high bonuses exceeding 100 million won per person, if this year's operating profit reaches the market forecast of 39 trillion won, employees could potentially receive performance bonuses of around 100 million won each.

As news of these exceptional rewards spread, SK Hynix has become increasingly popular among job seekers. In a survey conducted by Incruit in July, SK Hynix ranked first as the "most desired company to work for" among job seekers, surpassing Samsung Electronics for the first time.
