KB Kookmin Bank Holds 'Foreign Exchange Master' Competition for Employees

Voluntary Participation by Over 2,800 Employees Nationwide in Preliminary Round

KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 16th that it held the 1st Foreign Exchange Knowledge Competition, 'KB Foreign Exchange Master,' for its employees.

At the final round held on the 12th at the KB Kookmin Bank New Building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Lee Hwanju, President of KB Kookmin Bank, visited the venue, personally presented questions, and encouraged the participants.


This competition was organized to enhance employees' capabilities in foreign exchange work and to provide higher-quality services to import and export companies. In the online preliminary round held last month, about 2,800 employees from across the country participated. In the final round held on this day, 100 outstanding employees who passed the online preliminary competed. Ultimately, the top 10 advanced to the championship round, and after a fierce contest, Yoo Hayoun, Assistant Manager at the Gildong Comprehensive Financial Center, was selected as the first 'KB Foreign Exchange Master.'


A KB Kookmin Bank representative stated, "We hope that employees will actively utilize the expertise they have voluntarily developed to provide professional foreign exchange services to our customers," adding, "We will continue to offer a variety of programs where employees can learn and grow together."
