Human Technology's Anti-Drone Subsidiary Human Agos Wins Korea Airports Corporation Illegal Drone Detection Equipment Project

Human Technology announced on September 16 that its subsidiary, Human Agos, has been selected as the supplier for the illegal drone detection equipment procurement and installation project for Korea Airports Corporation. Following this selection, Human Agos plans to establish radar systems optimized for drone detection, along with operation servers and integrated control systems, at Jeju Airport and Gimpo Airport.

Human Agos is a leading company in the domestic anti-drone sector, providing a variety of solutions to clients, including RF scanners (radio frequency scanners), C2 software (integrated control systems), EO/IR cameras (electro-optical and infrared thermal imaging cameras), RF jammers, GNSS spoofers (satellite navigation deception systems), and detection radars.

According to industry sources, the tactical value of drone attacks has been highlighted recently due to the Russia-Ukraine war and conflicts in the Middle East, prompting countries around the world to rapidly expand the adoption of anti-drone systems. In South Korea as well, efforts to establish an 'integrated anti-drone system' are actively underway, and the scope of adoption is expanding to private sectors, such as data centers.

According to global market research firm Mordor Intelligence, the global anti-drone market is projected to grow to 9.3 billion dollars (approximately 13 trillion won) by 2030, maintaining a high average annual growth rate of around 25%. Market research agency Grand View Research also forecasts that the defense drone market could reach up to 88 billion dollars (approximately 117 trillion won) by 2030.

In particular, with the advancement of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the entire industry is evolving toward an 'integrated defense system.' Human Agos is highly regarded for its proprietary integrated solutions, which offer excellent compatibility between applications and are optimized for these emerging trends.

A company representative explained, "Anti-drone systems typically feature an integrated structure consisting of three stages: detection, identification and tracking, and defense and neutralization. Our solution has the advantage of being able to provide a total service that encompasses all these processes."

He added, "We will continue to actively expand our presence in both domestic and international anti-drone markets based on our differentiated technological capabilities, thereby solidifying our position as a leading anti-drone specialist in South Korea."
