Ulsan City is conducting final inspections to ensure the successful hosting of the 2025 Ulsan Industry Festival, which is set to open in October.
On September 16 at 10 a.m., the city will hold a final briefing on the festival's progress in the main conference room on the second floor of Ulsan City Hall. The meeting will be attended by Ulsan Mayor Kim Dookyum, Industry Festival Promotion Committee Chairman Kim Chul, directors of city departments, deputy heads of districts and counties, Ulsan Metropolitan Police Agency's traffic safety team leader, and about 30 others.
During the briefing, General Director Lee Joonmyung will present the final plan, followed by sequential reports from city department heads on 60 support tasks across 16 fields.
Through this meeting, Ulsan City plans to thoroughly review administrative support measures across all areas, including publicity, safety, business and diplomacy, culture, tourism, sports, transportation, environment, healthcare, and welfare.
Mayor Kim Dookyum stated, "This year's Industry Festival, under the slogan 'Ulsan is Korea,' is a special event that showcases Ulsan's past (industry), present (manufacturing), and future (artificial intelligence) at a glance. Through this festival, citizens will witness Ulsan's leap from the industrial capital to the 'AI capital' of Korea."
The 2025 Ulsan Industry Festival will kick off with a parade at the Gongyeoptap Rotary at 2 p.m. on October 16, followed by the opening ceremony at 7 p.m. on the south bank of Taehwagang National Garden on the same day.
The festival will conclude with a fireworks show at 8 p.m. on October 19 at Gangdong Pebble Beach.
