Kakao Pay Securities Partners with Jeju Air for Event Offering Investment and Travel in One

Kakao Pay Securities announced on September 16 that it is partnering with Jeju Air to launch the "Taking Off with Stock Trading" event, allowing customers to enjoy both stock investment and travel at the same time.

This event runs for about two months, from September 8 to October 31, and aims to make stock trading a more approachable and enjoyable part of everyday life.

It offers generous benefits to both first-time stock traders and airline ticket purchasers, providing a special experience where investing and traveling naturally go hand in hand.

Earn Jeju Air Points Just by Trading... Chance to Win Free Flight Tickets

The event is held in two ways. First, it targets users who have no record of stock trading with Kakao Pay Securities from January 1 to July 29 of this year.

Anyone who clicks the "Apply" button on the event page and completes a stock trade of at least 10,000 KRW during the event period will receive 10,000 Jeju Air "J Points." In addition, 100 users who receive J Points will be randomly selected: 98 will receive an upgrade to Jeju Air "Gold Tier" status, and the remaining 2 will each be awarded two round-trip international flight tickets.

The awarded J Points and Gold Tier benefits are valid for six months from the date of application. Gold Tier members enjoy priority boarding, additional baggage allowance, and various other premium services.

International Ticket Customers Receive Overseas Stocks as Gifts

A "Stock Gift" event is also being held for airline ticket purchasers. During the event period, customers who book round-trip international tickets through the Jeju Air website or mobile app/web and participate in the event can receive overseas stocks from Kakao Pay Securities, valued from at least 1,000 KRW up to 1 million KRW. The stocks provided are randomly selected: one from popular U.S. stocks (Apple, Nvidia, Tesla) and one from travel-related stocks (Las Vegas Sands, Hilton Hotels, Airbnb), with a total of two stocks given to every participant.

Kakao Pay Securities stated, "We prepared this event to offer a unique experience by combining the concepts of investment and travel," adding, "We will continue to expand practical partnerships to further lower the barriers to investment for our users."
