On September 15, Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Cho Sangrae) announced that it will hold the "Gokseong's Affection, Up to 40% Special Exhibition" for 18 days on its official online shopping mall, Gokseong Mall, until October 2, in celebration of the upcoming Chuseok holiday.

This special exhibition has been prepared to help customers get ready for Chuseok, Korea's largest traditional holiday, with reasonably priced gifts. The event will feature a wide range of products suitable for holiday tables and gift sets, including Gokseong’s signature specialty, Gokseong melon, as well as apples, pears, pine mushrooms, and assorted premium Korean beef sets.

The discount benefits are substantial. During the event, Gokseong Mall members will receive a basic 10% discount on all products, and for selected items in each category, discounts of up to 40% will be available.

Each customer can receive up to four discount coupons, with each coupon offering a maximum discount of 100,000 won. In particular, all products will be shipped free of charge, further reducing the burden on consumers.

Gokseong Mall has established itself as a mutually beneficial platform connecting consumers and local farmers through timely monthly exhibitions and unique customer participation events.

As of this month, cumulative sales have reached 1.97 billion won, and the 2 billion won milestone is within sight. The number of members has surpassed 32,000, and the mall has continued to grow steadily through various initiatives, including recent offline promotional events in collaboration with major department stores and Nonghyup Hanaro Mart.
