Lectures by Young Entrepreneurs from Yangsan
Special Talk by Chef Jung Jiseon, the "Queen of Dim Sum"
Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province has prepared a special healing event for young people.
The main event is the "2025 Yangsan City Youth Healing Talk Concert," which will be held at 1:30 p.m. on September 18 in the Convention Hall on the 5th floor of the Yangsan City Hall Business Center.
This event is designed to bring together around 300 local youths-including university students, job seekers, and young professionals-to gain new energy through music, lectures, and hands-on experiences.
The opening stage will feature a dazzling performance by the jazz group WINA, whose members have experience with the Yangsan City Youth Policy Group. Mayor Na Dongyeon of Yangsan will also participate in a special session to communicate directly with the youth.
The event will take the form of a "talk concert," with a real-time conversation between the mayor and the youth facilitated through a KakaoTalk group chat created on the spot. This meaningful opportunity will allow young participants to share their concerns and opinions directly with the mayor.
The following "Millennials & Gen Z Lecture" segment will feature young entrepreneurs from Yangsan. Lee Siwoo, CEO of a major franchise, and Lee Jooyoung, creator of TAX TOON, will share their personal stories of starting businesses and taking on challenges. As senior peers from the same region, they plan to offer practical advice and empathy.
Chef Jung Jiseon, well known as the "Queen of Dim Sum" from her appearance on the show "Black and White Chef," will also deliver a special lecture. Drawing on her experience forging her own path in the male-dominated Chinese cuisine industry, she will share three secret recipes for success, encouraging young people to be courageous and confident, while emphasizing the importance of constant challenge.
At the venue, there will be a photo zone and a "Life in Four Cuts" photo booth event to help participants create lasting memories. In particular, the official mascots of the "Year of Visiting Yangsan," Ppuyong and Hoit, will appear in costume, taking photos with attendees and adding to the bright and joyful atmosphere of the event.
A Yangsan City official stated, "This talk concert is more than just a lecture; it is a place where young people can connect and gain strength from one another. We hope many youths will participate and have an enjoyable and meaningful time," adding, "Yangsan City will continue to create an environment where young people can freely take on new challenges."
