At the Geumcheon District Community Economy Integrated Support Center

Geumcheon District in Seoul (District Mayor Yoo Seonghun) will hold a special commemorative exhibition titled "30 Years Together, A Small Trophy for Each Other" at the Geumcheon District Community Economy Integrated Support Center starting on September 17, to mark the 30th anniversary of the district's establishment.

Geumcheon District Marks 30th Anniversary with "30 Years Together, A Small Trophy for Each Other" Exhibition Provided by Geumcheon District.

This exhibition, which will run until October 22, features the works of 13 resident artists who have created pieces expressing their appreciation for neighbors and fellow Geumcheon District residents in celebration of the 30th anniversary.

Since August 13, resident artists have gathered to craft trophies and flags by hand. Through these items, which symbolize gratitude, the exhibition goes beyond simply displaying works-it conveys messages of encouragement, kindness, and solidarity to neighbors.

Lee Seunghee, one of the participating artists, shared, "Although I always felt grateful, I often found it difficult to express those feelings within the community. I am delighted to be able to convey my appreciation in such a special way through this exhibition, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to participate."

Yoo Seonghun, Mayor of Geumcheon District, stated, "This exhibition is an opportunity to reflect on the footsteps of Geumcheon over the past 30 years and to showcase the warm power of a community where neighbors support one another. I hope many residents will participate and take this time to share kindness with each other."
