This weekend, Gwangju and South Jeolla Province are expected to experience cloudy weather with heavy rain in many areas.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, on the 13th, rain will continue under the influence of a low-pressure system before gradually stopping. The expected rainfall is 30 to 80 millimeters in most parts of Gwangju and South Jeolla Province, and over 100 millimeters in the northwestern part of South Jeolla Province. Morning temperatures are forecast to range from 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius.

On the 14th, as the region comes under the influence of a high-pressure system over the West Sea, there will be a lot of cloud cover. Morning temperatures are expected to be between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 29 to 31 degrees Celsius.

An official from the Meteorological Administration said, "Heavy rain may sharply reduce visibility and cause slippery or flooded roads," and urged people to pay special attention to traffic safety over the weekend.
