Four Departments and Employees Selected as August's Outstanding Public Officials
On September 12, Changwon Special City presented the 'Employee of the Month' award in the city administration meeting room at City Hall, recognizing and commending recipients who achieved outstanding results in implementing key city policies and priority projects.
The employees selected this month include: the Veterans Affairs Promotion Team of the Social Welfare Division, which contributed to the spread of a culture of honoring veterans by promoting projects commemorating the 80th anniversary of Liberation, such as the construction of a memorial for Changwon independence activists; the Marine Recreation Division's Marine-Friendly Management Team, which planned environmental improvements and weekend cultural events to revitalize Jindong Gwangam Beach; the Hope Welfare Team of the Jinhae District Social Welfare Division, which secured 15 million won in annual welfare funds through an MOU with Busan Port Authority and worked to implement related projects; and Officer Joh Hyunkyung, who actively promoted the urban development project for the relocation of residents in Jaeun and Myeongdong 2 Districts.
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "I am grateful to the employees who have delivered results through their proactive work attitude," and added, "I hope everyone will continue to do their best in their respective roles to provide high-quality administrative services to our citizens."
