"Let Us Lead the Era of Digital Transformation with Self-Innovation and Proactive Adaptation"... Chairman Choi Pyeonggyu's Address on SNT's 46th Anniversary

SNT Group announced on September 12 the commemorative address delivered by Chairman Choi Pyeonggyu for the 46th anniversary of SNT's founding.

In his address, Chairman Choi Pyeonggyu of SNT Group stated, "The world is currently in the era of digital transformation (DX)," adding, "Companies are pursuing the advancement of convergence technologies between hardware and control software, while also seeking fundamental software-driven innovation across all aspects of organizational culture, including business models, organizational structure, processes, and management systems."

Chairman Choi went on to emphasize, "SNT must also rapidly shift its corporate culture and paradigm from a manufacturing focus to a digital focus," and added, "The way we work must quickly adapt to the rapidly changing digital environment, solve problems creatively, and be equipped with Agile Thinking to accomplish tasks swiftly through collaboration and communication."

He further stated, "By integrating precision electronic control technology with our core competency in precision machinery, we must continue our 'bold challenge' to creatively innovate existing business models and discover new growth engines, thereby creating new value (Value Creation)."

To this end, Chairman Choi explained, "This year, we newly established SNT Robotics and have embarked on a transformation to become a truly engineering-centered company," adding, "SNT Robotics will focus its capabilities on building the next-generation robotics industry ecosystem by developing key robotics technologies, such as industrial articulated robots and AI-based intelligent robots."

He also stressed, "We will actively utilize the 330,000-square-meter local plant site in Louisiana, United States, which we acquired this year, as a base camp to accelerate our expansion into the North and Central American markets, including the United States."

He explained, "This plant will become an advance base for SNT Motiv's efforts to penetrate the core mobility parts market," and "SNT Energy, in conjunction with its local plant in Saudi Arabia (SNT Gulf), will use it as a bridgehead to secure a competitive edge in the global energy power plant market, including the United States."

In particular, Chairman Choi called on executives and employees to take the lead in comprehensive 'innovation' with humanistic imagination and an attitude of 'Eungbyeon Changsin' (응변창신, proactive adaptation and innovation).

Chairman Choi remarked, "Historically, the core of 'innovation' has been people. The energy for 'innovation' also comes from humanistic imagination based on literature, history, and philosophy," and added, "Based on this imagination and energy, all members of the organization must proactively solve various projects by demonstrating ▲technological ▲marketing ▲and business imagination, in order to achieve comprehensive innovation."

To this end, he urged, "Let us lead the era of digital transformation (DX) and create a sustainable future for SNT by practicing proactive risk management and continuous self-innovation with the attitude of 'Eungbyeon Changsin'-responding one step ahead to the rapidly changing times and creating new value."
