Sh Suhyup Bank Conducts 'Fund Sales Management Officer Training' at All Branches
Sh Suhyup Bank announced on September 12 that it had conveyed the message from Noh Dongjin, Chairman of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, to front-line managers at its branches, emphasizing that "preventing the mis-selling of financial products at the source and prioritizing financial consumer protection must be the highest values."
During the recent 'Fund Sales Management Officer Training' held for all branch managers, Sh Suhyup Bank shared this message with its staff and urged them to dedicate their efforts to preventing the mis-selling of funds and strengthening consumer protection.
A representative from Sh Suhyup Bank explained, "This reflects Chairman Noh Dongjin's management philosophy, which aligns with the government's ongoing initiatives to 'expand financial consumer rights' and 'promote financial reform.'"
Meanwhile, the training program included a variety of courses such as fund sales suitability checks, guidance on work manuals and systems, market-specific investment outlooks and sales strategies, education on the Financial Consumer Protection Act and preventive measures, as well as special lectures from external experts, all aimed at enhancing practical on-site capabilities.
A representative from Sh Suhyup Bank stated, "Fund sales managers play a crucial role in overseeing product sales on the front lines at our branches. Through this training, we aim to eradicate mis-selling and, at the same time, develop strategic fund marketing capabilities to build greater customer trust."
Sh Suhyup Bank plans to continue establishing a sound fund sales culture and taking the lead in financial consumer protection by providing systematic training, advancing sales process manuals, and strengthening internal monitoring activities.
