Held on September 10 at Sim Office in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Startup Live is a program that offers startups, which address challenges faced by young adults and early-career professionals, opportunities to validate their market fit and secure customers. The participating startups were selected through fierce competition involving document screening and presentations in the Gongmyeongjeon startup investment contest, which has been organized by Gongmyeong Partners since 2022.

Now in its 12th year, Gongmyeongjeon features a variety of social issues and themes for each round, including artificial intelligence, healthcare, and proptech, to help early-stage startup teams establish themselves in the market.

This year’s selected companies include seven teams: Nudge, Dodohan Collabo, Cozy Makers, Career Note, Portzone, Broz, and Kira and Curmoney. The event also featured special lectures for young professionals and startups by popular YouTuber Jachwinam, who has 914,000 subscribers, and Dohyunmyung, CEO of Impact Square. They shared practical advice and vivid personal experiences, drawing enthusiastic responses from the participants.

The event concluded with a Product Feedback Session, a program designed to collect market-fit-based PoC (Proof of Concept) data based on feedback from participants after product demonstrations. The purpose is to enable startups to further develop their products using quantified data and to evolve them into marketable offerings.

Oh Sanghun, CEO of Gongmyeong Partners, stated, "Startup Live is a program designed to connect ideas that solve problems faced by young adults and early-career professionals with the actual market," adding, "We will continue to create more opportunities for startups to communicate directly with consumers."

Kim Yuna, Vice President of Maeum Investment, said, "We hope this program will give young people the chance to experience the startup scene up close and take a step closer to the entrepreneurial ecosystem."

Lim Sungjung, CEO of GSIC, commented, "We believe that entrepreneurial DNA can be found in anyone, regardless of generation," adding, "GSIC will support and encourage these young startups so that the visions they have presented can become reality."
