Asia Economy Education Center Trainees Achieve Consecutive Wins at 'K-Digital Training Hackathon'

Trainees from the Asia Economy Education Center are proving their educational achievements by consecutively winning the Excellence Award (Minister of Employment and Labor Award) in the designated task category and the Technology Innovation Award (President's Award of Korea University of Technology and Education) in the free task category at the 7th K-Digital Training Hackathon.

Hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by the Korea University of Technology and Education's Vocational Competency Evaluation Institute, the 7th K-Digital Training Hackathon is a project competition where trainees participating in the K-Digital Training program develop services based on assigned topics.


The team named 'Re:Live,' consisting of Kieun Kwon, Siheon Kim, Onyu Kim, and Jihong Lim, who received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award, shared in an interview, "It was our first time working in the data field, but the results of participating in the Asia Economy Education Center's four-month training program led directly to winning this competition, which is truly amazing. Not only did we gain technical knowledge, but the project-based, self-directed learning approach allowed us to learn how to apply industrial technology and solve problems, which has become our greatest asset."

Lee Sunghyun, a member of the team 'Nabimong,' which included Mungi Kim, Eunji Lee, Sunghyun Lee, and Hyunseo Lee and received the President's Award of Korea University of Technology and Education, stated, "Through high-quality education optimized for the medical industry, we were able to take our first step as AI experts by winning this competition. Although it was challenging, I am grateful to my teammates who faced the challenge together with enthusiasm. Through this valuable achievement, I will continue to strive to become a true AI expert who can address the shortcomings in society, especially in the medical field."


A representative from the Asia Economy Education Center said, "We immediately incorporate rapidly advancing IT technologies such as Vibe cording, LLM, Multimodal, and GAN into our project-based training curriculum, enabling trainees to develop both technical application skills and advanced capabilities. By encouraging active analysis and methodological research to solve the inevitable errors that arise during hands-on training, we strengthen every trainee's problem-solving abilities, supporting them to grow into professionals who can quickly respond to various variables they may encounter in real industrial settings."
