[Market Focus] NCSoft Surges Over 7% on Anticipation for New Title "Aion 2"

NCSoft is showing a strong performance, rising more than 7% on expectations for its new title, "Aion 2."

As of 9:38 a.m. on September 12, NCSoft was trading at 218,000 won on the Korea Exchange, up 16,000 won (7.92%) from the previous day. The stock has been on an upward trend for four consecutive days.

On this day, NCSoft announced that the release date for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Aion 2 in Korea and Taiwan has been set for November 19. Pre-registration for Aion 2 also began the previous day.

Kim Jingoo, a researcher at Kiwoom Securities, said, "Considering the detailed gameplay, well-balanced content, and character customization demonstrated through three live sessions, the success of Aion 2, which is a flagship new title, is highly likely."
