Ulsan 'Traditional Market & Small Business Festa' Opens: "Collective Spending Revitalizes Local Economy"

The 'Ulsan Traditional Market & Small Business Festa' is a large-scale sales event where various foods, daily necessities, fruits, and more from local traditional market merchants and small business owners will be offered at discounts of up to 30%.

This year, the festival has been designed as a venue for traditional markets, small business owners, and citizens to come together, featuring cultural events such as a children's choir competition, performances by office worker bands, and a senior fashion show. The first 300 visitors will receive prizes, and additional gifts such as K-League tickets will be given based on purchase amounts.

Meanwhile, Vice Minister Noh Yongseok of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups visited Haewoldang, a local company in Ulsan, to hear about its growth strategies, listen to challenges, and encourage the creation of local jobs and the spread of exemplary corporate culture.

Afterward, he visited the event venue, toured Hakseong Morning Market, which is holding a time sale of up to 50% off on fruits, and Jeonggam Studio, which sells handicrafts inspired by local cultural heritage such as the Banguchon Petroglyphs, offering encouragement to market merchants and small business owners.

Vice Minister Noh stated, "I believe that through the Together Festival, your collective spending will become a great source of strength for our families and neighbors, and ultimately, it will bring vitality to small business owners and the local economy during this bountiful autumn."
