Jung-gu District in Daegu (Mayor Ryu Gyuha) will host the "2025 Daegu Tomorrow (My Job) Joint Job Fair" on September 17, starting at 2:00 PM, on the 17th floor of Ourdeul Hospital in Daegu.
This job fair is jointly organized by Jung-gu District Office, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Daegu Middle-aged & Senior Tomorrow Center of the Korea Labor Foundation, the Daegu Employment Welfare Plus Center, the Daegu Southern Women’s New Employment Center, the Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, the Daegu Regional Veterans Affairs Office’s Center for Supporting Discharged Soldiers, and Daegu Health College. The event aims to provide job seekers with a wide range of employment opportunities and to offer recruiting companies the chance to hire outstanding talent, serving as an on-site, tailored recruitment venue.
Recruitment fields include logistics support, transportation, security and cleaning, facility management, nursing assistants, and caregivers. Twenty-five local small and medium-sized companies, including Uri Nursing Home and YNP Co., Ltd., will participate, planning to hire approximately 100 people through on-site interviews.
In addition, through booths operated by partner organizations, a variety of employment counseling, vocational training, and job information will be provided for small business owners, middle-aged and senior citizens, women, and youth. Additional events such as free ID photo shoots and job consulting will also be available.
Job seekers wishing to participate in the event can either register in advance or visit on the day of the event with their resume and identification card.
Ryu Gyuha, Mayor of Jung-gu District in Daegu, stated, "I hope this job fair will provide practical help to job seekers from various backgrounds, including youth, middle-aged, and women," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create stable employment through customized job policies for our residents."
