Park Chankyu, deputy spokesperson of the Innovation Party, issued a statement that morning, saying, "During his speech as the representative of the negotiation bloc, Floor Leader Song made derisive remarks expressing hope for the deaths of Democratic Party leader Jeong Cheongrae and President Lee Jaemyung." He further criticized, "He unconsciously revealed his true intentions, implying that a massacre of insurrection should have occurred as listed in Nosangwon's notebook."
Deputy spokesperson Park asserted, "This is not a simple slip of the tongue," and directly accused, "It was a moment when Floor Leader Song and the People Power Party lawmakers admitted to being one with the forces of insurrection." He added, "This cannot be dismissed as mere political rhetoric, nor should it be resolved with criticism or a verbal warning."
He continued, "After making the remarks, Assemblyman Song has not only failed to apologize but has consistently remained silent, evading responsibility," and pointed out, "There is no way to take back the content and impact of his statements."
He concluded, "We will immediately submit a disciplinary resolution against Floor Leader Song to hold him fully accountable for all political and legal responsibilities regarding this matter."
