The Jeonnam Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and the Gyeongbuk Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation made cross-donations to the Hometown Love Donation Fund at the opening ceremony of the "2025 Yeonghonam Win-Win Cooperation Harmony Festival," which was held on September 10 at the Mokpo Culture and Arts Center. The event was attended by Kim Youngrok, Governor of Jeonnam Province; Kim Hakhong, Deputy Governor of Gyeongbuk Province; Lee Gwangil, Head of the Jeonnam Headquarters; Choi Jinsu, Head of the Gyeongbuk Headquarters; Cha Sanghun, Jeonnam Regional Chairman of NH Nonghyup; and Kim Jongpil, Gyeongbuk Regional Chairman.

This cross-donation, following last year's initiative, saw the voluntary participation of employees from the Jeonnam and Gyeongbuk branches of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, NH Nonghyup Economic Holdings, and NH Nonghyup Financial Holdings. Representing their respective organizations, Lee Gwangil, Head of the Jeonnam Headquarters, delivered a donation of 20 million won to Kim Hakhong, Deputy Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, while Choi Jinsu, Head of the Gyeongbuk Headquarters, presented an equal amount to Kim Youngrok, Governor of Jeonnam Province. The donated funds will be used to support projects aimed at overcoming the decline of rural communities and assisting vulnerable groups.

Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and their respective provincial assemblies are actively engaged in mutual cooperation. In the spirit of joint growth, the Jeonnam and Gyeongbuk branches of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation have continued to exchange donations to the Hometown Love Donation Fund every year.

Lee Gwangil, Head of the Jeonnam Headquarters, stated, "I would like to once again thank the employees of the Jeonnam and Gyeongbuk branches of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation for participating in the Hometown Love Donation, which strengthens the bond between Yeongnam and Honam and promotes mutual prosperity." He added, "We will continue to work with local governments to share innovative ideas so that the Hometown Love Donation Program, which serves as a catalyst for overcoming regional decline and revitalizing rural areas, becomes more widely known and encourages greater public participation."
