According to US media outlets The War Zone and the New York Post on September 9 (local time), Eric Burison, a Republican congressman, presented footage related to UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) during a House hearing. The 50-second video shows a glowing sphere continuing to fly along its trajectory, undeterred after being attacked by a missile launched from an MQ-9 drone.

The footage is reported to have been filmed off the coast of Yemen on October 30 last year. At that time, Yemen's Houthi rebels were launching missile and drone attacks toward the Red Sea and Israel, leading to clashes with US forces. Congressman Burison declined to specify how he obtained the footage, stating only, "An independent review is currently underway."

George Knapp, a UFO expert and investigative journalist, stated at the hearing that "there are more similar videos stored on servers that Congress and the public have not seen," and called for the release of additional footage. Congressman Burison also refrained from speculating about the object in the video but questioned, "Why are we continually being denied access to this information?"

However, The War Zone, a military-focused media outlet, emphasized caution, noting that "the footage has not been independently verified."

Regarding the authenticity of the footage and the time and location of its filming, a US Department of Defense official told ABC News, "We have no information to provide." A Pentagon spokesperson, when asked for comment on the video, also stated, "I have nothing to share."
