Seocho District in Seoul (District Mayor Jeon Seongsoo) announced that the 2nd Seocho Youth FESTA will be held at the Seocho Youth Center from September 19 to 26. Organized to commemorate Youth Day (September 20), this festival stands out as it is planned and participated in directly by young people. The event is tailored for youth, featuring cultural experiences, special lectures, and networking programs.
The opening ceremony will take place on September 19 under the theme "Cheong.Chun.Young.Hwa (Our Youth is Now Playing)." The event will begin with magician Yoo Sangwook's Harry Potter-themed performance, followed by the Seocho Youth Award ceremony. Next, YouTuber DrawAndrew, who has 700,000 subscribers, will host a talk concert on "My Success Story with Multiple Jobs," offering counseling on youth concerns. Throughout the center, movie-themed experience booths will be set up, allowing participants to enjoy activities such as personal color analysis and making moon mood lamps.
From September 22 to 25, a series of special lectures will be held. On the 22nd, there will be a special lecture on posture correction exercises. On the 23rd, investment instructor Gwanghwamun Geumyungler (Jin Seobin) will give a lecture on stock investment strategies. On the 25th, real estate law expert Attorney Cho Seoyoung will address housing concerns for young people through a practical legal seminar covering issues such as jeonse (long-term lease), deposits, and contracts.
On the 24th, a job talk concert will be held featuring six current employees from major companies such as LG Electronics and SK Hynix. The event will include a panel talk show sharing job search experiences and job competency insights, as well as small-group mentoring sessions by job function, providing tailored career consulting for young participants.
On the final day of the festival, September 26, a networking party called "Seocho Youth Rooftop ON" will be held on the rooftop of the Seocho Youth Center. Around 60 young people will gather to wrap up the event with ice-breaking activities, themed discussions, and a catered party.
