Jeong remarked, "It's my first time here, and I was truly amazed. It's like an entire city inside, full of people and vibrant energy. The sheer scale is indeed worthy of Samsung." He continued, "In the guestbook, I expressed my wish for Samsung to become number one in the world in semiconductors. Samsung Semiconductors are the future growth engine of Korea and are supporting our nation. I hope they will become a proud world leader, instilling pride and confidence in Korea."

He added, "I heard that the construction of Pyeongtaek Plant 5, which had been delayed due to rapidly changing trade conditions, has resumed. This is truly fortunate. I sincerely hope the construction will be completed without any setbacks and that it will serve as a foundation for Korea's semiconductor technology to make another leap forward."

Jeong also expressed his intention to support legislative efforts. He stated, "As the United States, Europe, and Japan are all racing to introduce semiconductor support policies, I believe we can no longer afford to delay. We must enhance our industrial competitiveness through strong national-level support and investment." He added, "I will do my utmost to ensure the swift passage of the special semiconductor law in the National Assembly, which includes provisions for infrastructure development, facility expansion, and research and development support."
