According to Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital, the hospital has decided to maintain its medical service system to minimize healthcare gaps in the region caused by the extended holiday period, which begins with National Foundation Day on October 3 and lasts for a week, and to ensure that patients in need of care receive timely medical services.

As a result, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital will continue to provide all medical services as usual during this period, including outpatient care, inpatient care, and surgeries.

In addition, the hospital plans to keep its emergency medical center operating 24 hours a day regardless of the holiday, ensuring that emergency patients receive uninterrupted treatment.

Director Song Hyun stated, "We will thoroughly inspect all medical systems, including the emergency medical center, to prioritize patient safety," adding, "As a regional hub medical institution, we will continue to provide patient-centered care at all times."

Meanwhile, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital has continued to strengthen the region's healthcare safety net by operating as usual during previous holidays, such as the Lunar New Year, the substitute holiday for Independence Movement Day, and the substitute holiday for Children's Day.
