Gyeonggi Premium Bus P5342 began its first operation at 6:40 a.m. on September 10. This route serves as a replacement for the M5342 bus (Suwon Terminal~Jamsil Metropolitan Transfer Center), which was discontinued in November last year.
The Gyeonggi Premium Bus is a deluxe bus where seats can be reserved through the MiRi app, and the integrated metropolitan area transfer fare applies.
Route P5342 operates one-way during commuting hours. In the morning, buses depart from Suwon Bus Terminal toward Jamsil at 6:40 a.m., 7:00 a.m., and 7:20 a.m. In the evening, buses depart from Jamsil toward Suwon at 6:00 p.m., 6:20 p.m., and 6:40 p.m.
A total of three vehicles operate six times a day. The Gyeonggi Circulation Bus fare of 3,050 won applies.
The main stops include Suwon Terminal, Seonil Elementary School, Namsuwon Middle School, Gyeonggi Arts Center, Maetan 1-dong Community Center, Sohwa Elementary School, and Gwanggyo Jungang Station. In Seoul, the bus stops at Jangji Station·Garden Five, Munjeong Legal Complex, Munjeong Rodeo Street, Garak Market, Seokchon Lake, and Jamsil Station Transfer Center.
Seat reservations can be made through the MiRi app. The introduction of a contactless payment system and deluxe vehicles provides a comfortable transportation environment. The route is limited to one-way operations during commuting hours, distinguishing it from existing metropolitan buses.
An official from Suwon City stated, "The launch of this commuter-only route will significantly improve travel conditions for citizens between Suwon and Jamsil," adding, "We will continue to do our best to expand safe and convenient transportation infrastructure in the future."
