This "Gyeonggi G Hanwoo Festa," sponsored by Gyeonggi Province and hosted by the Gyeonggi Headquarters of NongHyup Agribusiness Group, will feature participation from cities, counties, and livestock-related organizations across the province. The event will offer tastings and discounted sales of Gyeonggi’s premium livestock products and other local agricultural specialties, as well as exhibitions of livestock equipment and machinery, talent shows for residents, interactive events, and a wide range of food, entertainment, and experiences.

At the "Gyeonggi Premium Livestock Tasting and Sales Corner," visitors can sample high-quality livestock products, including those with the G Mark, for free and purchase premium meats at special discounts of up to 30 percent. There will also be a grilling zone where visitors can cook and enjoy the meat they purchase on-site.

This year, a variety of hands-on programs have been prepared for residents to enjoy together, including horse feeding experiences, face painting, caricature drawing, animal necklace making, and photo booth sessions.

Additionally, the "57th Gyeonggi Hanwoo Competition" will be held, where twelve Hanwoo cattle that have advanced to the finals in three divisions will compete for the championship through a judging process. The Hanwoo Competition aims to encourage livestock farmers who produce top-quality Hanwoo despite challenges such as market liberalization, and to promote livestock improvement and foster competitive livestock farms.

Meanwhile, a "Livestock Sharing Event" will also take place to promote happiness and partnership between the local community and the livestock industry. The Korea Pork Producers Association will donate Korean pork worth 70 million won to the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Council, sharing the value of giving with neighbors in urgent need of living support and those facing hardship.

Shin Jonggwang, Director of Livestock Policy at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The Gyeonggi G Hanwoo Festa is an opportunity for residents and livestock farmers to come together and thrive, as it offers high-quality Hanwoo at reasonable prices, widely promotes the excellence of Gyeonggi’s livestock products, and helps increase farmers’ incomes through boosted consumption. I hope many people will attend and experience firsthand the outstanding taste and quality of Gyeonggi’s livestock products."
