Wonju City in Gangwon Province signed a traffic control and safety management agreement with the Wonju Autonomous Crime Prevention Union and the Wonju Model Drivers Association at the investment consultation room on the 7th floor of city hall on September 8, in preparation for the successful hosting of the "2025 Wonju Dumpling Festival," which will take place from October 24 to 26, 2025.

The agreement ceremony was attended by Won Kangsu, Mayor of Wonju, Kim Hyungrae, Head of the Wonju Autonomous Crime Prevention Union, and Shim Sangha, President of the Wonju Model Drivers Association, as well as other officials. The event served as an opportunity for participating organizations and agencies to reaffirm their commitment to close cooperation for the safe and successful operation of the Wonju Dumpling Festival.
Through this agreement, each organization pledged to actively cooperate in ensuring smooth traffic control and safety during the festival period.
Mayor Won Kangsu stated, "The Wonju Dumpling Festival is a signature event enjoyed by both citizens and tourists in the city center, so safety and traffic are our top priorities. Through this agreement, we will work together with the citizens to create a safe and convenient festival experience."
